Optimal Performance is the result of managing “Mental Tension”.
- Too little = complacency
- Too Much = overwhelm
In training, the goal is to “myelinize the right stuff” by mindfully reaching for the top of the performance curve.
- Set the bar high, even when no-one’s watching (there are some things which can be counted that do not count).
- Adjust your Comfort Zone by spending time in “The Uncomfortable”.
