I did the Workout of the Day today at the Portland YMCA.  My time was 1:11:27.  Took a little longer than I had expected.  My goal for next time is under an hour.

					<description><![CDATA[Today I got a taste of GI Jane, which is 100 Burpee pull ups for time.  I was competing with three other guys and the competition is fierce.  We started this workout at about six a.m.  I pushed my self to the brink of exhaustion because I am fiercely competitive.  I did not want to get up this early for anything let alone this much punishment. 

 About half way through the GI Jane workout I was thinking &quot;This workout is so simple yet it is one of the most challenging workouts I have ever done&quot;.  Its workouts like this that I thrive on as it helps me to push myself.   the competition between my friends which also forces me to go beyond my comfort zone.  All of these things together make a very simple workout very challenging.  these are my thoughts on the thought of the day.
